First day at Electronics

I need a torch in my Emergency Kit. I'm going to learn about simple circuits and use the tech process to design and make one for my bedroom .

Solo hour in nature...

Today for inquiry room 9 did a Solo hour in nature how do you it? well what you can do is take a book outside write a book draw a picture  or relax. But there's only 2 rules you cant talk and you can't can any technology outside too. Here are some photos that Mrs Fisher took of us relaxing.

Today my class went to the libary and i got a book called Auggie & Me it  tells the story of Auggie Pullman an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face whose first year at school changed the lives and of everyone around him. This is what the book looks like i suggest you should read it😊

 My Never Ending Story

Cold muddy heart beating stumbling in the battle field falling in the muddy path.Shell shocked and ripped clothes will I stay alive.

Tumbling everywhere wet clothes dark skies but bombs blow. Up the mountain up i go half way up and there i go.

Too tired to walk falling everywhere bombs blow up and guns go off. Men crying ticks in cuts nurses helping and people dieing. Trying to run and pick up my past and as i look behind i see people fall on their face.trying to go back but get shot. falling over in fear and pain hope i get back but slowly dieing what do i do

.  

Help help i try to run back covering my mouth and sweating on my back i roll on my tummy and pray.

‘Everybody gas masks on i yell’ and chuck on my mask. But one person a sleep I try to leap over to grab him and I stumble to the ground and fail.As I look up I try to run but then I feel a tug on the back of my shirt. I see him choking on the gas and drop to the ground and I cry.

Clouds appearing in front  of my face i look at the back of me and see people running. Wait for me I yell but they all keep running i try to run but the smell has hooked me. And stumble to the ground.

I see my friend rushing towards me and falls to the ground trying to crawling his way back to me. Because of the gas  I did not know what to do.

Green  eyes brown hair and tanned skinned guy in my hands dying in pain twitching and moving all about. As I  look down i'm in hurt and pain.

Crying struggling and trucked into the wagon uneven and wiggling around and moving a lot why my friend why him why not the guy always sitting in the corner he does nothing but sing joyful songs that are not even joyful. All  the guts on it and all the innocent people that were not supposed to die

Been through bombing and gunning other people.Trench foot or even ticks do you think it’s still awesome to die for your country. Or not after you have heard all of the rommers and guns and bombs and tricks and trench foot. What about the never ending  nits in your hair and the never ending itching.

At school we are having a pumpkin competition. We have to bring a pumpkin if we want to enter. There will be a prize for the biggest smallest and many more this is the pumpkins so far.

Capture the rugby ball

Today we played capture the rugby ball. How you play is you need to have a field and put cones down.then you have to split the field evenly so its far and also split the class or people that your playing with. Then you have to run and try not to get tagged and if you get tagged you have to sit down. How you get untagged you have to wait for someone to touch you and you runback. For kotahitanga week we made a pou by designing 4 panels and went around class and voted for 3 panels we like the best. Once we have chosen the top 3 they combined them all together and it turned out like this.

P.E

For P.E we played crab soccer. You play by lining up in two lines and one line on one side and the other line on the other side and number them. And you call out a hole lot of number and you have to kick the ball into the goal. You also have to walk the a crab

author's purpose

A few weeks ago the class had to find a topic and right pie. For it pie is persuade inform and entertain i picked watermelon because it's my favorite fruit this is what i did.

                          My gold book goal for terms 1 and 2 is to earn my sports badge and half of my                                     technology badge.



                         I will achieve this by joining lots of fun sports that i enjoy like gymnastics and                                      running  and stay focus in my technology.




                         By the end of the year 8 i hope to have achieved  my technology badge and my sports                          badge and many more that i hope to achieve.
